We want to connect to the passerby, the lone wolf eating a hot dog, the hunter.
We are currently accepting proposals for our 2017/18 seasons. Check out the SUBMISSIONS page.
Co-Directors and Curators:
David D'Agostino and Adam Wohlwend
C(a)OW was initially launched by artist and curator David D'Agostino at Clark Atlanta University (Atlanta, GA) in 2011, and featured the work of Nancy VanDevender, founder of the Worker's Performance Alliance. It later hosted projects in the studios of the Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center.
The C(a)OW features all video and performance art and is retrofitted for video, one person performances, installations, paintings and sculpture.
On OCT 7, 2016, it relaunched in New Mexico featuring 3 local Albuquerque artists. Throughout the year C(a)OW will host 4 to 6 exhibits with their duration varying between 6 to 12 weeks. Each exhibit will include an 'opening' at one location and move on 2 to 4 other distinct locations in Albuquerque and surrounding locations, including desert and other open spaces. Locations will be determined by applying Fluxus games and random mapping techniques.
